Cheers to a good day! :)

Woke up so exhausted this morning! Kept snoozing, but was still able to run a few errands before heading to work in the morning. I had 10 minutes to spare before reporting to work so I quickly went to a cafe to get a cup of cappuccino to wake me up for the day. It was soooo yummy, but I wish I could have sat down and slowly enjoy it instead of downing it like a crazy American! But I had no choice, didn't want to be late for work!

When I got into work, I met Miina who is also apprenticing with Metal Flaque. She is such a cool, fun girl from Finland. We quickly became friends and it was really nice to have another companion at work to hang with. She was telling me on her first day yesterday she saw a Parisian racquetball player in the boutique with probably his girlfriend. Apparently, he was really hot! Then on her way home, she ran into Jared Leto by the Louvre with one of his friends! I was so jealous!!!!! She said he looked soooo hot and had the bluest eyes ever! Soooo lucky!!!! I told her she had a great first day! Mine wasn't nearly as exciting as hers!

During my lunch break, I tried to do a little exploring to see if I could find some cheaper, but still yummy places to eat. It's so hard since the area I am at is so touristy and expensive. I ended up eating at Hansung and got a Bibimbab lunch special for 9.90 euros. It came with a lot like salad, gyoza, side dishes and even a fruit cocktail dessert so I guess that was kind of a good deal.

Miina was telling me that Lillian (the owner of the boutique) will be taking us to this Wedding dress fair this weekend! I can't wait to see! That should be fun even though it's going to run into my days off. :( But Monday is yet another holiday here in Paris...so many holidays!

After work, Miina and I went to look for a cafe to chill at for dinner and drinks. We ended up at this crowded cafe, but it was pretty good and the prices were ok. Miina introduced to me Kir, which is this white wine where you add a flavored syrup. I got the peach one which was really tasty! I also got a croquette olympia, which is a toasted ham and cheese sandwich with tomato and fried egg. It also came with a salad.

As I went home and walked into my complex, I ran into Alexander again! He's the only neighbor I see and keep running into! He was heading to the market after he had just worked out. We chatted a bit out by the courtyard and I asked him if he knew of any apartments I could rent for July in the building. I prefer to stay in the area instead of going back and forth since I'll be moving back to Michel's place again in August. Otherwise, I'm going to choose the mini-studio in Trocadero. He told me he was going to ask some of his friends here that might be traveling in July and will leave me a note if I am not home and then he asked if I was free on Sunday to hang out haha...I said possibly if I am not going to the wedding fair since I'm not sure which day it's going to be..it'll be either Sunday or Monday, so I guess we'll see!!!

I can never seem to get enough sleep here, but hopefully tonight I will get a good night's rest so I can be refreshed for tomorrow! Bonne nuit!!! Bisous Bisous! oxox :)
