Another awesome birthday weekend celebration with my family and friends! I really am a lucky gal! :) I feel so blessed to have such amazing family and friends that love me so much and I LOVE them even more!!!
It started off Thursday night with Viet..he took me out to see My Sister's Keeper which was pretty good, but a bit slow. And then we snuck in to see The Hangover which was pretty funny! We were getting hooked up all nite with a free movie and free refill of our slushy! Then we went to Bar 13 and snuck our way in without having to pay and to top it off the bartender kept hooking us up with shots and drinks! Yeah!!! :)
Friday was fun too..headed back home with Yukiko and went to Binh's to meet up with everyone for a dinner party. Food was awesome! After we went to Mini bar for a casual nite of drinks. Saturday, we went to Grace's parents place for their annual July 4th Cookout that is not to be missed! Awesome food as well!!!! Came back and hung out with my parents to go see the fireworks at Marina Bay! I've always loved fireworks since I was born right after my parents went to go see the fireworks! They always joked that I waited til it was over before making my entrance into the world. :)
Sunday was Funday!!! I had a blast celebrating my bday from 11am to 11pm at Bokx109! My friends came to relax with me by the pool and it made me really happy that everyone had a good time!!! More wonderful memories to add to my list!
I know as we get older, my friends don't like celebrating their bdays..but I LOVE it!!!! I know it's easy to get caught up with age and comparing ourselves to other people and where we are in life and where we think we should be...but I think the most important thing is that hey we have another year of life to celebrate!!!! And I think that's amazing! There are so many people in this world who would give anything to be able to celebrate another birthday...and from my past experiences, I definitely don't take it for granted! Not only that, it's a day to feel so special and to see how lucky we all are to have such great family and friends to celebrate with us! Nothing makes me happier than to have this moment with the people I care about and love so much. That's the best present of all! So THANK YOU all for being in my life and making my life special!!!!! oxoxo
